The Seven Sorrows of Mary

The Seven Sorrows of Mary

On September 15, we celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows. Let us meditate on the seven sorrows of Mary: from the prophecy of Simeon at the Presentation of the baby Jesus in the Temple; from her flight into Egypt with Joseph and the baby Jesus; from her losing her child Jesus in the Temple; from meeting Jesus on his way to Calvary; from standing at the foot of his Cross; from viewing Jesus being taken from the Cross; and from viewing his burial.

Let us pray today the Litany of Our Lady of Seven Sorrows by Pope Pius VII.

We are in the second half of our Summer Campaign, but have only raised $37,735 of our goal of $130,000 for this quarter of our annual budget year.

Many of our supporters take well-deserved summer vacations, which causes our support to reach its lowest levels of the year.

So, we would really appreciate your help to keep our Missionary Images of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Jesus King of All Nations and Our Lady of America on their Visitations throughout America.

Thank you for your generosity!

But, in order to continue this  work for the greater glory of God, we must raise $92,265 by the Feast of St. Michael the Archangel, September 29. This is just for our normal quarterly operating expenses of maintaining our Apostolates’ Center and paying our modest salaries. There is no surplus in our budget, which does not include any special projects, needs, or savings.

Please consider the most generous donation that you can make today. There is no donation too large or too small that Our Lady can’t use for the Kingdom of God.

Whether $20, $50, $100, $200, or even $500 or more – we need your help today!

Don’t forget, we remember you. Our benefactors receive the following spiritual benefits from our Apostolates: our intercession for your Prayer Petitions (click here to make your Prayer Petitions) in our daily Chaplets; in our Rosaries and perpetual Novenas; in our weekly Holy Hour before the Blessed Sacrament and in our special monthly Masses for your intentions. Thank you for your donation today!

Thank you for remembering us.
