This warning of St. John Paul II was reaffirmed by Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano, former Apostolic Nuncio to the United States, in an Address to all of the United States Bishops at their Fall General Assembly in November 11, 2013. He said with respect to the warning of St. John Paul II, “I would like to call your attention to the words the then-Cardinal Wojtyla is reported to have given in an address during the Eucharistic Congress in 1976 for the Bicentennial celebration of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. It seems to be so profoundly prophetic.”
Yes, the warning was truly profoundly prophetic as is very evident 43 years later in our secular culture that St. John Paul II called a Culture of Death. It is a Culture of Death because our country has legalized the moral evils of contraception, abortion, sodomy, same sex false marriage, false transgenderism, suicide and the killings of medical patients who are not dying.
This Final Confrontation is now evident in our Culture of Death that is no longer founded on the truths of life from conception, of the meaning of human life with dignity ordered to eternal life with God, of the only sexes of male and female, of immutable indissoluble marriage only between one man and one woman, of sexual acts only within a united monogamous marriage and open to new life, and of only natural death without suicide.
Sister Lucia, the Fatima visionary, said, “The final battle between the Lord and the reign of Satan will be about marriage and the family. Don’t be afraid, because anyone who operates for the sanctity of marriage and the family will always be contended and opposed in every way, because this is the decisive issue. However, Our Lady has already crushed its head.”
Tobit prophesied, “All the nations of the world shall be converted and shall offer God true worship; all shall abandon their idols which have deceitfully led them into error.” (Tobit 14:6).
May we practice the Jesus King of All Nations Devotion as Jesus requests, may the nations be converted and may Tobit’s prophecy be fulfilled in our time by our culture’s abandonment of “their idols which have deceitfully led them into error.” (Tobit 14:6).
May our nation abandon its idol of “choice” that has brought our Culture of Death and choose good and not evil.
The remedy to the Secularist’s Culture of Death is Jesus Christ Himself whom we must know, love and serve and whose reign over all nations we must recognize in order to transform our world which is being degraded because human beings live as though God does not exist.
Jesus King of All Nations has warned us that if we do not obey Him and recognize His Reign, we will suffer from chastisements. He said,
When will you accept My devotion of Jesus, King of All Nations? Are not these atrocities enough to move you to faith and action?
Once more I offer to you this precious gift and remedy from Heaven. Will you at last accept it and practice it? Will you at last enthrone My image and proclaim anew My Sovereign Rights and Supreme, Inviolate Authority over mankind?
Hear Me at last or the state of the world will continue to decline yet further until one day the Great Chastisement will fall upon you and you shall cry, “Blessed is He Who comes in the Name of the Lord!” (Journal 734).
We are called to have hope in the promise of Jesus King of All Nations for a great renewal of the Church, of mankind and of all creation. Jesus King of All Nations said,
Therefore let it also be known that a great renewal of My Holy Church, of mankind and indeed of all creation will follow the cleansing action of My Justice. How greatly I Love My people! It is for your good O mankind that I allow My Justice to be poured out in order to awaken your conscience and correct your sinful behavior. Yet you see how dearly I Love you in that I continually warn you and even seek to comfort you in the pain of the cleansing which is almost upon you.
Return to Me My people. I Love you Infinitely and Eternally for such is My very Nature as God; the One-True God, the Sovereign King of all that is.
Pray and trust in Me My Faithful ones. I will not abandon you in the dark and cloudy day which rapidly approaches. Stay close to My Immaculate Mother; cling to her Holy Rosary, invoke her Immaculate Heart.
Take up My devotion of Jesus King of All Nations for in its practice you shall find for yourselves a haven of Grace, Mercy and Protection. Enthrone this My image everywhere for I shall be powerfully present there and the Power of My Sovereign Kingship shall surely shield you from My Just Judgement.
Be strong and do not lose hope. I AM with you to save you. (Journal 414-419).
