Below is an article about the current Visitation of the Missionary Image to the Archdiocese of Connecticut. I thought that you would enjoy it because it shows the need and continuation of our 22 year-old pro-life mission, especially to abortion centers and pregnancy care centers. The Image will visit the state capitol and 23 abortion centers!
Sincerely in Christ,
Dan Lynch

ENFIELD – St. Martha Knights of Columbus Council 14600 will host the blessed traveling Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe Sept. 6-23 at St. Martha Church and at 23 abortion providers and referral centers in Connecticut.
The image is an exact photographic duplicate of the miraculous image of Our Lady. It has traveled worldwide and been blessed by Pope John Paul II.
“She brings peace to whoever sees her,” said Johane Pigeon, administrative assistant at Vermont-based Dan Lynch Apostolates, a lay group that promotes devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe.
“There [have been] many miracles through the veneration of this image,” she said, listing reports of cures, conversions and restoration of peace to people in turmoil since the image began to travel in June 1991.
The highlight of the visit will be on Sept. 14, the Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children, when a 10 a.m. Mass at St. Peter Church in Hartford will be followed by a procession from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., during which the rosary will be recited, to the state capitol, said Greg Bailey, a member of Council 14600, who will be among the image’s escorts.
At the capitol, there will be a pro-life, pro-family and conversion prayer vigil with appeals to Our Lady of Guadalupe. Trips to memorials to the unborn in various towns were being planned as the Transcript went to press.
Mr. Bailey created a Web site dedicated to the visit at olgmission2013.weebly.com. The full schedule of related events, information about the image and an email address to which people may send daily prayer intentions are found there.
“The image shows Our Lady with child. We believe this makes her especially powerful in standing up for the unborn and why we are escorting her to all the abortion providers/[referral centers] in the state in prayer and veneration. Please join us!” he wrote on one page.
The site also says that 15 decades of the rosary will be recited at each abortion or referral clinic.
The image will be welcomed in prayer and veneration at 4 p.m. Sept. 6 at St. Martha Church, which also will have a 48-hour eucharistic adoration for the unborn during its stay. Masses and devotionals will take place each day through Sept. 8, and will include a Mass in Spanish at 4 p.m. on the last day and a 7 p.m. Mass at which the image will be blessed as it starts its missionary tour of the state.
Mr. Bailey, who with his wife keeps a vigil outside of an abortion center once a month, said the purpose of the tour is to heighten awareness of the pro-life cause.
