Dan Lynch
Guardian Deborah Burton recently wrote to me that Lexington, Kentucky, is finally abortion free! She credits the closing of four Lexington, Kentucky, abortion centers to the intercession of Our Lady of Guadalupe through her Missionary Image. This last one was EMW Women’s Clinic.
Wikipedia defines a clinic as “a healthcare facility that is primarily focused on the care of outpatients.” Clinics are supposed to give healthcare. This one did not. This was an unlicensed abortion center caught masquerading as a doctor’s office.
The state of Kentucky filed a lawsuit against the EMW Women’s Clinic for illegally operating an abortion clinic disguised as a doctor’s office. State investigators discovered that its almost sole business was abortions and abortion-related procedures with numerous health and safety violations.
This is what Deborah wrote to me,
Dear Dan,
It has been a long hard battle…ever since we got the Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe here in 1992…where the attached photo was taken by me at one of the abortion clinics that closed within two weeks of us praying there. [See the unusual photo below. Deborah called the white formations that appear over the image “shields” and not reflections, except for the one in the center which was a reflection.]
Then we kept getting the Momma back to Kentucky many times and taking the Image to the other abortion clinics…and one by one, they closed. This fourth one in Lexington was certainly the hardest and I even went to Cincinnati one time when a group had the Missionary Image and brought it back to Kentucky to that clinic where a group of us prayed…and took it right back to Cincinnati.
We had many 40 Days for Life groups praying at this clinic over the years, prayer rallies, Fatima Day of prayer…but I really believe that it was this last time when the Momma brought her Son with her at Thanksgiving with your Divine Mercy image. Those two images were the double whammy that ended all these years of persecution of those innocent babies…not only did the state not allow the abortion clinic a license, but its landlord would not allow it to be there any longer…that was another double whammy.
Many, many people that prayed there have gone to heaven and I know they are all rejoicing!!!
I just also wanted to thank you for your ministry that has given the Momma the means to get where she needs to be.
She decided to come here…. I had no idea the Image was going to be in Kentucky until Guardian Wade Poole mentioned it in passing as we were talking about the Pilgrim Image of Our Lady of Fatima. I was telling Wade about the World Pilgrimage Peace Flight that you and I were on in 1992 when we began it at Fatima. The Fatima statue, the Missionary Image and the image of Jesus King of All Nations were all there and we saw the dove rest on top of the Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe image and hover around.
Wade said that he had already booked the Missionary Image for Kentucky and I told him we had to have her in Lexington, because we had one more abortion clinic to close down. I was able to pick the Image up in Bardstown and have it for just one day…Thanksgiving Day Mass and then to take it back to Wade in Frankfort. …but before that…
I took the Missionary Image and the Divine Mercy image to the Chancery office and prayed and passed the abortion clinic and set them up in our adoration chapel overnight …then set up for Mass the next morning.
I am convinced that our Momma and her Son answered our prayers!!!
So, thank you again, Dan!!!
Kentucky state investigators said they found numerous health and safety violations at the EMW abortion clinic, including a “significant quantity” of expired medication, medical equipment covered in dust, dirt and grime; and improper sanitation. It also did not have emergency agreements with a local hospital and ambulance service, as required by law, according to the state’s lawsuit.
Kentucky law requires that abortion clinics obtain special licenses from the state, but EMW did not have one for its Lexington facility, according to the state.
In spite of those findings by the state, the clinic posted on Facebook, “We must have ACCESS to safe, legal, affordable abortions without interference by the government.” Its abortions were certainly neither safe nor legal and the clinic will be permanently closed.
Now the only abortion provider in the state of Kentucky is EMW Women’s Surgical Center in Louisville. Let us pray through the intercession of Our Lady of Guadalupe that this last abortion center will be permanently closed so that Kentucky will be abortion free!
Many abortion centers have closed after Visitations to them by the Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe and Peaceful Prayer Presences there by the faithful. Perhaps Our Lady is calling you to host a Visitation of her Missionary Image. Please check out “How to Host a Visitation” on our website at www.JKMI.com or call our office at (802) 524-5350.
People continue to tell us how mother venerators of the Missionary Image have received blessings of safe deliveries for their babies; of choosing life for their preborn babies; of being healed from abortions or of becoming pregnant when all hope was lost. The work that we do is making an impact in peoples’ lives. Your help has made this possible for so many people! You are an important member of our apostolate. Thank you for all the ways in which you support us.
We want you to know that you and your loved ones will be in our daily prayers, novenas, weekly holy hours and monthly Masses. Your intentions are offered to Our Lady of Guadalupe and her Son everyday in our chapel. You are important to us and we want you to know how much we appreciate you, your prayers and your assistance. Don’t forget, we remember you.
As we celebrate this great victory of Our Lady of Guadalupe, please help us to continue her mission to end abortions and the Culture of Death and bring conversions and a Culture of Life, for which St. John Paul II prayed. With your help we will be able to continue our evangelization efforts – taking Our Lady through her Missionary Image into parishes and cities throughout our great nation.
Please take a few minutes right now and make your donation by visiting our website here or by phone at 802-524-5350.
Please send whatever you can afford. As Our Lady of Guadalupe said to St. Juan Diego, “Do the best that you can!”
Thank you for remembering us.
