Be Free From Worry, Fear and Anxiety

Close of California Pilgrimage with the Missionary Image and Hopeful Closing of Abortion Centers!

The Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe is now closing its pilgrimage to California abortion centers. The last stop on the pilgrimage will be at the California State Capital in Sacramento on April 30.
The Most Reverend Jaime Soto, Bishop of the Diocese of Sacramento, will celebrate the “Crowning Visit” of Our Lady’s Mission for Life by offering The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament and immediately following the liturgy will lead a Eucharistic Procession around the State Capitol in prayerful journey and public witness to end “without exception” the horrible evil abortion.
The Guardianship Team is actualizing the plea of St John Paul II. He wrote, “A great prayer for life is urgently needed, a prayer which will rise up throughout the world…Let us …discover anew the humility and courage to pray and fast so that power from on high will break down the walls of lies and deceit; the walls which conceal from the sight of so many of our brothers and sisters the evil of practices and laws which are hostile to life. May this same power turn their hearts to resolutions and goals inspired by the civilization of life and love.” (Gospel of Life, Pope John Paul II, No. 100).)

The Guardian Team of Teresa Marsano and Dora Lee Raras coordinated the pilgrimage, supported by Bishop Richard Garcia, Bishop of the diocese of Monterey. He sent a letter to each of California’s Diocesan Directors of Respect Life. You may read his full letter here.
Bishop Garcia called the pilgrimage, Our Lady’s Mission for Life. He called it a unique vision to bring to fruition, through prayer, the closure of California abortion centers. He wrote that the mission is “A statewide schedule of Visitations by the Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe during the upcoming months of March and April. It is my prayer that you will welcome and support this effort to bring Our Lady to every abortion clinic in California.”

Over 25 abortion centers have closed after Visitations of the Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Pope John Paul II pointed us to the intercession of Our Lady of Guadalupe for the transformation of our Culture of Death to a Culture of Life. He named Our Lady of Guadalupe as the Queen and Mother of America. He entrusted to her the “future path of the Church on the great continent of America.” In January of 1999, at her Basilica in Mexico City, he said, “The Church must proclaim the Gospel of Life and speak out with prophetic force against the Culture of Death. This is our cry: life with dignity for all . . . . The time has come to banish once and for all from the Continent every attack against life.”
You may read here How Our Lady of Guadalupe Will Transform Our Culture.

Bishop Garcia concluded his letter, “I thank you in advance for your time and effort in the promotion of Our Lady’s Mission for Life and offer my sincere gratitude for all you do to promote and rebuild a Culture of Life.”

The closing Mass will be preceded the day before by Peaceful Prayer Presences with the Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe at 9AM, 12PM and 3PM at Sacramento’s Planned Parenthood, Family Planning Services and Planned Parenthood Regional Headquarters and Abortion Center.

During this Pilgrimage, the Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe visited a total of 144 abortion centers for Peaceful Prayer Presences!

The Guardian Team reported that the pilgrimage brought them “The BEST Easter ever!!!  Our Lady and I were at the “Crown” of the state at Son Rise … and later during prayer at the mega mill in Eureka … in the pouring rain … She let me know that the first domino has been tipped!!!  A blessed ab’soul’utely beautiful day … !!

Teresa and Dora wrote to our Apostolate, “We are ever so grateful to the Guardians of the Missionary Images, Dan Lynch Apostolates, for recognizing Our Lady’s desire to come to California for this special Mission for Life and for making it possible for all of us to honor Her special request.”
