Facts

Approval:  The original revelations of the medal and devotion of Jesus King of All Nations were communicated by Jesus’ servant to her spiritual director. Her Diocesan Chancellor said that no imprimatur was necessary for these revelations and those could be published. These revelations were later granted the Nihil Obstat.

Nihil Obstat: Rev. Edward Santana, J.C.D.
  Canonist Enrique Hernandez Rivera, D.D.
  Bishop of Caguas, Puerto Rico
  August 15, 1993

The Nihil Obstat is an official declaration that a book or pamphlet is free of doctrinal or moral error. No implication is contained therein that those who have granted the Nihil Obstat agree with the contents, opinions or statements expressed. The Nihil Obstat covers The Journal contents through Chapter 9.

Bishop Rivera said that he recognized “the need to foster more devotion to Our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ, True King of All Nations.”

These revelations were submitted to Most Reverend Kenneth A. Angell, Bishop of Burlington (Vermont) to grant his Imprimatur. He did not issue any judgment on them.

Who: Jesus King of All Nations is a title of Jesus Christ derived from Sacred Scripture. He is referred to as the ruler of the kings of the earth (Rev. 1:5); the King of kings and Lord of lords (Rev. 19:6) to whom “all nations shall come and worship in (His) presence” (Rev. 15:4) and who shall judge all nations which will be assembled before Him sitting upon His royal throne. (Mt. 25:31-32). His kingship is taught in the Encyclical Letter Quas Primas by Pope Pius XI.

What: The Jesus King of All Nations Devotion is also derived from private revelations received by two American women. Their revelations confirmed one another. In obedience to their spiritual directors they are anonymous.

The Devotion is consistent with Scripture, Tradition and the Teaching Authority of the Church. The original revelations were granted the Nihil Obstat which is a declaration by the Church that this is free of doctrinal and moral error. Enrique Hernandez Rivera, D.D. of Caguas, Puerto Rico said that he “recognized the need to foster more devotion to Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, True King of All Nations.”

     The Devotion has several elements:

  • The Image manifests the merciful Jesus in his title of King of All Nations.
  • The Medal manifests this Image of Jesus with an Image of Jesus our
Eucharistic King and St. Michael the Archangel, Protector of the Kingdom of Christ on Earth, on the reverse side.
  • The Prayers consist of the Chaplet of Unity, the Novena of Chaplets, the Novena in Honor of Jesus as True King, the Novena of Holy Communions, the Litany in Honor of Jesus King of All Nations, the Consecration to Mary, Mediatrix of All Grace and the Special Blessing.
  • The Promises are the graces of conversion, healing, final perseverance, unity, peace in hearts and homes, a special grace emanating from the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts, the gifts of the Holy Spirit, protection  from harm and natural disasters, mitigation of chastisements and all forms of God's justice.

Why: Jesus wants to reign in mercy in all hearts so that His reign will be recognized on earth and there will be unity in one flock and one shepherd. He wants the proclamation of the dogma of Mary as Mediatrix of All Grace. He wants to grant us graces of forgiveness, conversion, healing, protection and peace.

How: The Devotion is practiced by living the Word of Sacred Scripture; by the wearing of the medal; veneration of the Image; the recitation of the prayers; adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and the reception of the sacraments of Penance and the Eucharist.

Jesus King of All Nations revealed that He wants His reign to be recognized on earth. He revealed images and a medal for us to keep in reverence in order to help us to recognize His reign. He also revealed prayers and promises. These revelations are collectively known as the Jesus King of All Nations Devotion.

The Devotion consists of images of Jesus King of All Nations and Jesus our Eucharistic King with St. Michael; a medal of them and prayers and promises.

The image of Jesus shows Him as King of All Nations crowned and holding a scepter of mercy in His right hand.

Jesus said, “This image is a sign that I rule Heaven and earth, and My Kingdom, My Reign, is near at hand. Give this image to mankind as a source of graces and of peace. My Most Holy Mother is preparing the great triumph. The triumph of her Immaculate Heart ushers in the Reign of My Love and Mercy. This image, My child, must become known. Tremendous will be the miracles of grace that I will work through this image and Devotion of Mine.”

The image of St. Michael shows him next to the Sacred Host. St. Michael revealed that God willed that he be honored as the Protector of the Church of Christ on Earth and Guardian of the Most Blessed Sacrament.

Jesus asked that He appear in His image and be brought to His people everywhere. A large 4’ x 6’ Visitation Image was painted and has journeyed throughout the world. It has been displayed before millions of people for veneration. Many signs, wonders, healings and conversions are reported.

The late Father Albert J. Hebert said "This is one of the last great efforts of our Lord to pour out His mercy before His justice descends upon mankind in the great chastisements.”

Origin

Jesus King of All Nations gave revelations to two American women from 1988 to 1993. One calls herself “His servant,” the other calls herself His servant’s “spiritual mother.” Jesus also calls “His servant,” “My Secretary.” Each will be referred to hereafter by these respective titles. They are both under priestly spiritual direction and are anonymous in obedience to their directors so that the revelations, and not the women, will receive recognition.

Jesus told His servant that He wants His reign to be recognized on earth. He led her to design a medal for us to keep in reverence in order to help us to recognize His reign. He also revealed The Chaplet of Unity, The Novena of Chaplets, The Novena in Honor of Jesus as True King, The Novena of Holy Communions, The Litany in Honor of Jesus King of All Nations and the Special Blessing.

Jesus gave promises attached to each of these practices which are known collectively as The Jesus King of All Nations Devotion. Jesus said to His servant, “This Devotion to Me as ‘Jesus King of All Nations’, is to be a companion devotion to that of My Mercy as given to My beloved daughter, Faustina, and to that of My Sacred Heart as given to My beloved daughter, Margaret Mary.” (Journal 165)

Devotion to Christ the King conforms to Scripture and the Teaching Authority of the Church. It did not begin with private revelations. The faithful have always recognized and honored Christ as their King. So these revelations add nothing new to Catholic doctrine. The significance of these revelations is that Jesus Christ, King of All Nations, willed in an extraordinary way to call the minds of humanity now to His scriptural title (Ps. 47:8-9) and to His reign without end. (Lk. 1:33). Jesus Christ is Victim - High Priest, True Prophet and Sovereign King of all. (See Vatican II, Dogmatic Constitution on the Church 13).

Jesus told His servant, “My child, I would have My faithful ones know that the end goal of this devotion and indeed of all devotions, is that of true love and worship of Me, their God and the sanctification and resulting salvation of their souls.” (Journal Preface).

The citations for the Scriptural quotations are to the Douay-Rheims Bible. Some of its books have been renamed in modern translations. The following Douay-Rheims book abbreviations are followed here by the modern book abbreviations in parentheses: Para (Chr.); Os (Hos.); Soph (Zep.) and Apoc (Rev.).

The revelations are written in a style that may seem to be interrupted by Scriptural quotations. However, these are definitely not interruptions. They were given by Jesus Himself. Jesus appeared to His servants at random and would dictate His messages. The messages were normally given to His servants through interior intellectual locutions and were audible to the ear only occasionally. At different points of His dictation, Jesus would tell His servants to open Sacred Scripture. They would do so and write down what He would give them. Jesus would then continue His dictation. These Scriptural quotations amazingly fit the context of the dictation showing that God’s Word in Scripture is living and as much His Word today as His dictations to His servants. Both of these make a harmonious whole.

Please do not skip the Scriptural quotations to make what you might think is easier reading. Jesus wants them to be read integrally with his dictations. Remember that His servants obediently went to His Word in Scripture, wrote it down and then continued taking dictation so that you would have His living word take root in your hearts. On your part, you should read it as He intends.

The revelations are printed in bold and Sacred Scripture in italics.

Jesus’ servant was chosen not for any special holiness of hers but because she knows that she is a miserable, weak person who is a living product of His mercy. All that she can do in return is to proclaim His mercy to all of the nations.

All of her gifts are for the mercy of her soul and other souls. Jesus wants to show us how merciful He is and how He is always present and involved in our lives. He wants us to have a personal, intimate relationship with Him which we can realize through the practice of this Devotion.

Jesus revealed that His Mother has prepared His way today through her intercession as Mediatrix of All Grace. Through her motherly mediation, the triumph of her Immaculate Heart will usher in the reign of Jesus King of All Nations.

Jesus and His Mother want her to be known as the Queen and Mother of All Nations. (See Lk. 1:31-33). This is, as she said, “Because I reign as Queen beside my Son who is King, but my first and foremost title that He gave me under His cross, ‘out of much affliction and anguish of heart … with many tears,’ (2 Cor. 2:4) is ‘Mother.’ (Jn. 19:27). I am Theotokus, the Mother of Jesus Christ who is God. I am the Mother of All Souls, of All Nations of the whole world.”

Jesus appeared to His servant’s spiritual mother on the feast of Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha, a Native American, and said, “I have come to gather the tribes of all nations under My Sovereign Kingship.”  and not for this nation only, but to gather into one all the dispersed children of God.” (Jn. 11:52).

Jesus also requested that He appear in His image as Jesus King of All Nations and be brought to His people everywhere. “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord, the King of Israel. … Fear no more, O daughter Zion; look your King comes seated on the colt of a donkey.”  (Jn. 12:13-15).

Jesus said that He is pleased with the Visitations of His Image for veneration. He said, “I promise, my child, that as long as this Image of Mine travels, so will I have mercy on this world. . . .  Come children! Come before My Image as ‘Jesus King of All Nations’!” (Journal 308, 309)
