The Transfiguration of Our Lord

August 6, 2011

Urgent Message from Jesus King of All Nations

Dear Friend of Jesus King of All Nations,

The Transfiguration of Our Lord was the high point of His public life. Jesus changed before the very eyes of a select few of the apostles and conversed with Moses and Elijah in their presence. Can you imagine being Peter who was offering his help, suggesting setting up tents for Elijah and Moses, maybe even nervously babbling, when the voice of God boomed from the heavens?

Jesus had taken three of the apostles up to a high mountain, Peter, James and John and stunningly before their eyes He changes, He transfigures. A synonym for transfigure is metamorphosis and the definition describes a change in spiritual appearance. Jesus literally looked heavenly and then exchanged words with Moses and Elijah. The apostles must have been in awe, “He was transfigured before them; His face shone like the sun and His clothes became white as light.” (Matthew 17:2). Then God’s voice from the heavens interrupts Peter’s suggestions with, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to Him.” (Matthew 17:5).

Even as Jesus shone before their eyes, they needed God’s reinforcement, “LISTEN TO HIM.” That was over 2000 years ago, maybe we are hard of hearing?

God the Father calls us to listen to Jesus everyday, especially today. Please read the Urgent Message from Jesus, maybe someplace where there isn’t the noise of our busy world – find a quiet place and listen.

Jesus gave this message to His Secretary on June 6th of this year. Our Apostolate’s priest theologian has approved it for publication. Jesus gave the message to His Secretary by interior locution, then He guided her to the scriptural citations that are contained in the message, which confirm it.

Jesus warns us, “Great is the chastisement that is ready to descend upon this sinful world to correct the consciences of individuals and the conscience of mankind as a whole!”

Jesus asks us to, “Embrace My Devotion of Jesus, King of All Nations for it is a great Mercy given by your God for these most perilous times. Contained within it are gems of all-manner of grace given through the mediation of My Immaculate Mother, graces of forgiveness, healing and renewal of minds and hearts. Why are My people not taking advantage of this gift of Mine?”

Gems? Graces? Healing? Renewal? Why wouldn’t we listen? We live in extremely different times than those of the apostles, our times are full of distractions. They were still walking, baking their own bread, and fetching water from a well, yet at times they too were slow to hear Jesus’ words. Aren’t we living in desperate times? Aren’t we desperate for the words of Christ? Why wouldn’t we listen to His Devotion today?

You can practice the Devotion and spread it to your family and friends by doing the following:

Jesus warns us of a “chastisement that will fall directly from Heaven.” The Spiritual Mother of the Devotion to Jesus King of all Nations died this Spring, please pray for the repose of her soul and read what Jesus told her.

On September 14, 1989,  the Feast of the Triumph of the Cross, she saw in a vision a heavenly chastisement, just like Jesus warned us about in His urgent message.  She described this chastisement in paragraphs 147 and 148 of The Journal: “For a space of time, He let me behold a Heavenly chastisement, which is to come. Greater than any Hiroshima could ever be. It was a merciful calling from God; a chastisement of mercy because God’s people’s hearts were far from Him and they no longer revered Him as God.”

A chastisement is an act of God’s love to bring us to repentance and peace with Him. The prophets warned of chastisements because of mans sinful behavior. God’s chastisements, like the Great Flood, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, and the earthquake that swallowed Korah served to reconstruct the very nature of human kind as an act of mercy for purification and redemption.

As the Book of Judith states, “Let us give thanks to the Lord our God who, as He tested our ancestors, is now testing us. Remember how He treated Abraham, all the ordeals of Isaac and all that happened to Jacob. For as these ordeals were intended by Him to search their hearts, so now this is not vengeance that God exacts against us, but a warning inflicted by the Lord on those who are near His heart.” (Judith 8:25-26, 27).

God allows chastisements to serve His divine plan of love, to help awaken the consciences of souls and thereby to turn their hearts and minds to Him, their God and Savior and also to allow them to participate in His redemptive act by sharing in His sufferings.

Chastisements hang over the nations of the world because of the enormity of sin and outright denial and hatred of the one, true God. If we do not convert and return to Him, He punishes us because He loves us and wants to correct us.

God will not be mocked forever. As St. Paul tells us, “Make no mistake: God is not mocked.” (Galatians 6:7). Again and again God has appealed to mankind to turn from their evil and sinful ways. He longs to forgive us and to pour out His great mercy upon us rather than His perfect justice.

So, let us receive His mercy and follow His request to “Embrace My Devotion of Jesus, King of All Nations for it is a great Mercy given by your God for these most perilous times.” Let us wear His medal of protection, pray the prayers that He gave us and spread His devotion!

Jesus concluded, Why are My people not taking advantage of this gift of Mine? . . . Yours is the choice. I leave you free to accept or reject both My admonition and My gift.”

Sincerely in Christ,

Dan Lynch
