Charleston Bishop Venerates Missionary Image at Abortion Center

The Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Charleston attended the Candlelight Vigil and venerated the Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe at the Charleston Women's Medical Center (abortion center), in Charleston, South Carolina, October 10, 2009, during 40 Days For Life Prayer Campaign to end abortion.
The Most Reverend Robert E. Guglielmone was among the 40 plus prayerful men, women and children who participated in the Candlelight Vigil with the Missionary Image.
To have the Bishop humbly standing alongside the people of life was very encouraging as it strengthened everyone's resolve to work harder for the protection of human life.
To have Our Lady of Guadalupe there was to affirm the truth, and help to put an end to the bloody human sacrifice of abortion that has destroyed millions of human lives and hurt as many mothers.
